Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • ¾ cup whole wheat or oat flour

  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil

  • 2–3 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Mix dough: Combine cheese, flour, butter/oil, salt, and seasoning. Add water slowly until dough comes together.

  3. Roll thin: Roll dough between parchment sheets until very thin.

  4. Cut crackers: Slice into small squares. Use a toothpick to poke a center hole.

  5. Bake: 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp. Cool completely — they crisp more as they cool.
